For agencies with more client work than developer hours —

Your agency's extra developer.

I'm Alexander Schottky, a remote, dedicated developer working through Schottky LLC. I work behind your agency as a white-label developer: overflow builds, client-site maintenance and AI integrations, under your name, on a fixed monthly arrangement. Your team stays client-facing. I stay behind the scenes.

A written agreement with Schottky LLC. Your clients, your name, your accounts. The fixed monthly number is sized to your volume and agreed in writing before anything starts.

15+ years building for the web, full stack
Your name on the work — white-label by default
Most changes live same day — acknowledged within 2 business hours
Multi-year retainers — my clients stay for years, not quarters

The work comes in waves. A full-time hire doesn't.

Most agencies I talk to have the same shape of problem: a few months where every developer is double-booked, then a quieter stretch where a new hire would sit waiting for work. Bringing me in gives you a senior developer for the waves, on a fixed monthly arrangement you can plan margins around, without adding someone to payroll.

What I take on

Builds, upkeep and the technical work in between.

I work from your designs, your briefs and your tickets, in whatever stack the client is on.

Overflow builds

Marketing sites, web apps and stores in PHP, TypeScript and React, or whatever the client already runs, built from your design files.

Client-site maintenance

Updates, security, backups, fixes and small changes across your client roster, inside your accounts.

AI features and automation

Chat assistants, content and intake automation, and AI built into client sites through the Anthropic, OpenAI and Gemini APIs.

Rescues and migrations

Inherited legacy sites (concrete5, Joomla, aging WordPress installs) moved onto something maintainable, content and rankings carried over.

Integrations

Forms, CRMs, booking, payments and the APIs that connect a client's site to the rest of their business.

The technical plumbing

DNS, hosting, Git, staging, analytics and tracking. The parts nobody on the creative side wants to hold the keys to.

How it works with your team.

I fit into the way your agency already runs. You don't have to change your process for me.

i.

Your name on the work

I work in your tools: your Slack, your project board, your repositories. Your clients only hear about me if you want them to.

ii.

One fixed monthly arrangement

We size it to your volume at the start and put it in writing. No hour reports and no surprise invoices, so you can quote your clients with confidence.

iii.

Message me like a coworker

Every request is acknowledged within two business hours, and most changes go live the same business day.

iv.

Everything documented

Code lives in Git, in repositories you control, with written handoff notes. Anyone on your team can pick up where I left off.

I use AI tools like Claude Code every day. That's how one senior developer ships quickly, and every change is still reviewed and tested by me.

Questions agencies ask

Do you work directly with our clients?

Only if you want me to. By default I'm white-label: I work through you, and the client relationship stays yours.

Will you sign our NDA?

Yes. Confidentiality is part of every written agreement I sign, and I'm happy to work under your agency's own paperwork.

Which platforms do you work in?

Pretty much anything on the web. Day to day that's PHP, TypeScript and JavaScript, React, Node.js and SQL, plus the platforms clients end up on, like Shopify, Webflow, WordPress and concrete5. If a client is on something unusual, ask. I've probably inherited one before.

How does pricing work?

A fixed monthly arrangement sized to how much work you expect to send, or a fixed price for a single defined project. Either way the number is agreed in writing before work starts. I don't bill hourly.

What if you're unavailable?

Your work never depends on me alone. The code sits in your repositories, documented, with written handoff notes, so any competent developer can pick it up.

Can you start on something small first?

Yes. Many partnerships start with one project or a short list of fixes, so you can see how I work before committing to a monthly arrangement.

Why agencies work with me

I've been building websites and web applications for over fifteen years, much of it alongside agency teams. I know the rhythm: the pitch goes well, the deadline is fixed, and the build has to land without the client ever seeing the scramble.

I keep my client list short on purpose, so the agencies I work with get a developer who knows their clients' sites, not whoever happens to be free. When you message, I answer.
